Q-Balls are now lighter than ever. M10 is now weighing a mere 498g (1.1 lbs), and breaks the half kilo barrier. M10 is easily capable of handling a 90 lbs of load. This translates to a load/weight ratio over 80. No other competitors' products are even close to this performance.
The progressive tension control provides an unmatched strength and smoothness without any "locking-up" problem by using the unique triple action biaxial controlling mechanism.
The patent pending new fluid style main tension control knob provides precision handling, smooth operation, lighter weight and durability.
Markins Q-Balls are the only ballheads with hard-anodized surface. A hard-anodized surface is so durable and scratch resistant that it is 30% stronger than stainless steel.
The center bolt is now a precision machined titanium bolt. It is light weight but stronger than ever.

The clamp knob is now captive style. It stops at a maximum opening. Not only it is more convenient, but it can't get lost by unscrewing off. It is smooth and released by less than 2 full turns, faster than any other competitors' clamp.
The patented spring loaded detent pin prevents your valuable equipment from accidentally sliding out.
Applicable to all Markins products, all the corners and edges are rounded by a super-finishing barreling method. So it won't damage your valuable other equipment.
